Argyll and Bute council is forced into a U-turn after ordering British
school girl Martha Payne to stop her Neverseconds blog detailing her school
meals because her comments were upsetting catering staff.
If you go to her neverseconds blog it is so popular that the read counter is literally racing way with hits. It has now been viewed by 6.5 million people and she has now raised an unbelievable £95,000 for Mary's Meals.
At one point Jamie Oliver's intervention did not even 'cut the mustard' but thousands of complaints have thankfully made the council think again!
There is now so much money that a new kitchen can be built in Malawi (now possibly three kitchens) and literally thousands of meals can be provided for children in the third world. It only costs £10.70 to feed one child in a school for one year. So.....
