THE NEW EVANGELISATION IS BEING STRANGLED AT BIRTH - MICHAEL VORIS SUMS IT ALL UP.

THE NEW EVANGELISATION IS BEING STRANGLED AT BIRTH -
MICHAEL VORIS SUMS IT ALL UP.

My own parish of St. Mary's Louth (ironically the home of the Lincolnshire Uprising) is a prime example of what Michael Voris is talking about in the latest Vortex. The stranglehold of liberal Catholicism is literally choking the very mission of the Catholic Church. The New Evangelisation can never work in churches like St. Mary's (where all the liberal stereotype dissent boxes can be ticked) because of:

1. 50 years of lost catechesis
2. The predominance of false ecumenism
3. No understanding that the Catholic Church is the 'One True Church'
4. Abject failure to evangelise
5. Irreverence towards the Pope and Church teaching.
6. Members dissenting by aligning themselves with the 'Call to Action'

7. Insidious bullying of priests and those who wish to be reverent (yes it does happen).
8. Little welcome shown to new parishioners.
9. No understanding or knowledge of the real content of Vatican II.
10. Many examples of the most devout Catholics feeling that they have to leave the parish.
11. Oh yes, and the regular classic of parishioners erroneously implying that there are 'no absolute truths in the Gospel or Church teaching'.

Of course St Mary's is not the only Catholic Church in the UK that is failing in its Catholic mission due to the stranglehold of liberal dissent (mainly seen in the over 60's who run parishes). Thankfully there are now plenty of examples up and down the country of traditionalism / orthodoxy / devout Catholicism
starting to pick up pace:

We now have orthodox bishops being recommended to Rome by our excellent new Nuncio.

Rigorous church teaching being proclaimed by

Bishops Mark Davies & Philip Egan.

The CDF now monitoring and intervening where there is liberal dissent in the English Catholic Church.

Orthodox priests are now coming through seminaries once again.

More Latin Masses available in England

A growing Catholic pro-life movement in England being championed by young Catholics.

Four high profile liberal talks recently cancelled due to intervention from devout Roman Catholics & the CDF.

Interestingly orthodoxy is particularly gaining momentum with Catholic youth groups such as Juventutem & Youth 2000 taking the lead. These groups seem not to be scared of proclaiming the realities of sin, confession, the works of Satan, the ultimate truths of Christ & His Holy Catholic Church, the need for a return to devout Catholicism, and finally the imperative need to reject liberal mediocrity which is damaging the church.

Please take a few moments to check out what Michael Voris has to say. He gets to the crux of the matter about 3 minutes in to this 6 minute video.
