Jean Vanier God Catholics & Do Not Resuscitate DNR

TODAY'S 'DO NOT RESUSCITATE' STORY
& THE GREAT JEAN VANIER ON
GOD & THE DISABLED

You will have probably seen today's national media coverage and the condemnation from various parts of the Catholic media (Click here for the Catholic Herald article) surrounding the case of a Down’s syndrome patient.

He is taking legal action against an NHS trust after a “do not resuscitate” (DNR) order was put on his medical file without his knowledge or the knowledge of his next of kin.

Satan has a particular dislike for anyone with disability and we only have to look at the thoughts of Jean Vanier to see one of the
reasons why.

Of course, we really have to search no further than the Bible for this revelation, however many have always been particularly struck by the words of the great Catholic hero and role model Jean Vanier (the person who founded L'Arche). He said that every time we come into contact with someone with a disability, it is at these moments that we have an experience of God whilst we are on earth. This belief was central to the L'Arch Communities he founded around the world.

As we have seen today, Satan will do any thing at his disposal to stop this from happening.
